– Assures that paid and unpaid staff receive adequate in-services and training.
– Coordinates ancillary services provided to the patient.

– Collaborates with Director of Patient Services to access conversion rates, no show,
cancellation rates and testing performed.
– Assures equipment, supplies and staff are available and in good working order.

– Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed in Florida.
– CPR/BLS certification (required); ultrasound training or willingness to be trained in
limited obstetric ultrasound (preferred).
– Minimum of 2–3 years clinical nursing experience; 1+ year supervisory or leadership
experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
– Proficiency in women’s health, prenatal care, and STI education.
– Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods while performing ultrasound
procedures.
– Frequent use of hands and arms to operate ultrasound equipment and assist patients.
– Ability to safely assist patients on and off the exam table, including bending, reaching,
twisting, and occasional lifting (typically up to 25 pounds).
– Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination, sufficient to perform diagnostic imaging and
operate technical equipment.
– Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations in a
calm and professional manner.

The Sonographer performs the following functions:
Clinical Procedures: Performs ultrasonic diagnostic procedures per policy, Standing Order, Clinic Manager, and Medical Director guidelines.
Client Education: Provides education on fetal development to clients.
Case Management: Evaluates clients’ stated needs to determine appropriate services; creates and maintains client records.
Advocacy: Provides medical services, education, and community referrals within the scope of licensure and training.
Professional Development: Participates in in-service training, update calls, and conferences; maintains current CPR certification and advances scanning skills.
Compliance: Complies with federal, state, and licensure requirements, including professional continuing education.
Customer Service: Greets clients and builds an appropriate Client-Advocate relationship in a pleasant, non-judgmental tone.
Spiritual Care: Participates in prayer as an integral part of the day; shares the Gospel in deed and word as the Spirit leads.
Follow-up: Coordinates and documents client follow-up to ensure services align with the discharge care plan.

Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing OR current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required.
Experience: 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in a clinical or medical setting.
Assets: Previous experience in obstetric nursing, public health nursing, or nursing management is a plus.
Mobility: Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and safely assist patients on/off the exam table (lifting up to 25 pounds).
Dexterity: Frequent use of hands and arms to operate ultrasound equipment.
Coordination: Strong visual acuity and hand-eye coordination for diagnostic imaging.
Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emotionally sensitive or stressful situations calmly.
