In 1990, Maureen began working with CPCI as a volunteer counselor. By 1996, she became a board member, serving as secretary for several years. Family and faith are Maureen’s driving passions. As a stay-at-home mom, she began volunteering weekly at her children’s school and headed the Respect Life Committee for St. Ann Catholic Church in Naples. She also served on the Parish Pastoral Committee, and on the boards of the Mother Francis de Sales Auxiliary and the Naples-based National Family Foundation. Maureen graduated from Boston College in 1985 with a B.A. degree in History and Philosophy. Maureen and her husband, Jim, have been married and lived in Naples since 1987. They have six children and are very active in St. Ann Catholic Church, where Maureen serves as a Eucharistic Minister, Bible study leader, and is also part of a weekly Rosary group. She and Jim have 3 granddaughters; Katie, 9 years old, who was adopted by her daughter Mary, and her daughter Claire’s girls: Emma and Elizabeth all of whom bring her great joy!
